#MellyEats || Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters (Updated)
Here's a little update of Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters after my second visit. The last I went to Pacamara was about 2 months ago. And since that trip, I have not stop thinking about their truffle benedict and iced thai coffee. So naturally, I ordered those to satisfy my cravings as well as to introduce S to the amazing dish! The salted caramel banana french toast and truffle fries were also part of our hearty brunch.
I guess because it was a weekday, food came quickly and soon enough my share of the truffle benedict was in my tummy. The perfect combination: runny poached egg yolk, generous amount of vegs and ham and crispy soft toast. In no time, the dish was wiped clean. It was satisfying to know that the standard did not drop and tasted as good as before.
The salted caramel banana french toast was next on our menu. The visual presentation of this dish was lovely; toast drenched in salted caramel sauce and topped off with a generous amount of banana slices. Toast was crispy soft, banana slices were fresh and ripe but, unfortunately, the excessive amount of salted caramel sauce made the dish too sweet for my liking. It would be better if the sauce was drizzled on top of the toast.
There's nothing to fault on our nibble dish, truffle fries. This bowl of sinful goodness accompanied us through our htht.
Did I mention how photogenic the cafe is? The cafe comes alive with optimal natural lighting from the full glass window panels reflected off the white walls. It's an ideal location to take photos. There's also a wall full of coffee related products for coffee enthusiasts to shop.
It's definitely rare for me to visit the same cafe twice. I have this mentality to not visit the same cafe twice unless it is extremely worth revisiting so as to maximize my free time visiting the fast growing cafe population in SG. With that said, I will come back anytime for their truffle benedict and coffee.
